Our vision:
Flowers is a commodity which is, in air-transport, mostly based upon volume. Large aircraft can be filled completely with flowers but still don’t reach the maximum payload of the aircraft. This aircraft will however consume the fuel based upon this high payload. Other aircraft might be big enough to carry the volume but either the payload or the range is not enough. It is therefore that we only will use the most effective aircraft for this service, this way offering the perfect balance between fuel consumption compared with the cargo carried.
By offering a daily aircargo service, based upon the most convenient arrival time for the importer/ Auction/ wholesale , a grower can cut and prepare his flowers at the very last moment, as he is sure that they will be transported as booked. Every grower or his agent will have a blocked space agreement called an allotment.
Working this way both grower and importer can increase the “vase life” as there is no time lost by waiting or storage. As a result quality and price will be great upon arrival.
Extra advantage is that flowers grown in Africa and being flown to Europe have a much lower Carbon footprint.
We will offer capacity for Pharmaceuticals, Life Aid goods and General Cargo on our return flights to Africa
